I really enjoyed this project.  The objective was to take a photograph of a bottle of red wine which allows you to see rim light, the label clearly and the red of the wine. click on the tips section to follow the process resulting in this master piece.

The objective of my latest project was to take a picture of a bottle of red wine. The objective was to see a rim light on the bottle with the label and wine being clearly visible. The process -  Cut a square into a normal cardboard box. Put wax paper in the open square area. Place black cardboard paper on the wax paper to form the back-round. Place the bottle on a piece of perspex to create the silhouette. I used a mag lite with a fibre optic at the front to paint the label. Make a hole in the in the backround. This allows you to see the the red of the wine.  This photo was not edited at all.
